I tried this on my iPhone and my partner’s Samsung, and it worked well on both, which was a relief because I wasn’t totally sure it would. Setup was simple enough, though I did have to restart it once before it connected properly. After that, everything seemed fine. Overall, I’m happy with it and glad it didn’t turn into a hassle.

I mean, the app does what I need it to for the most part, but it’s not always super easy to get around. I had to poke around for a while before I found the settings and figured out where to check my plan. It’s usable, just a little confusing at times.

I tried setting up my eSIM, but it just would not activate!! I kept running into errors and ended up wasting a bunch of time going through settings to figure out what was wrong. Support wasn’t really much help either, so I eventually just gave up. Definitely not the best first impression.

The tracking does work, so it’s not like it’s totally broken or anything. But every now and then I’ll look at the usage numbers and think, wait… that doesn’t quite line up with what I remember doing. Maybe I’m missing something, or maybe it updates in a weird way, but it feels a bit off in spots.

well... I used it while traveling through Spain and Portugal, and overall it did the job. The internet was quick most of the time and only dropped once while I was on the train. Setup took me a little longer than expected, but after that everything worked fine.

I was really counting on this hotspot during my trip, but it ended up being frustrating. The connection kept dropping over and over again, sometimes right in the middle of trying to look something up or get directions, which was exactly the kind of situation I bought it for in the first place. I tried restarting it, moving around, waiting it out, all the usual things, but it never really became reliable. I also reached out to support hoping they could help me troubleshoot, but they weren’t very useful and I didn’t feel like I got much guidance. I used getoffroam.com on a recent trip and yeah, it was mostly alright. In the city areas it worked fine for the basic stuff like maps, WhatsApp, looking things up, that kind of thing.

Once I got a bit away from the main spots though, the signal started dropping here and there. I had to restart my phone a couple times, and sometimes it got slow for no obvious reason.

So yeah, not awful or anything, just not something I’d call super dependable everywhere. I’d maybe use it again, but only if I had a better idea that the coverage was solid where I was going

I had an issue with my order/account and contacted support thinking it would probably be something simple to sort out. I wasn’t expecting anything instant, but I did assume someone would look at what I was actually saying and help me get it fixed.
They did reply at first, so it wasn’t like I was completely ignored, but the responses felt generic. It was the kind of thing where I’d explain the problem, then get an answer that sounded like it came from a script and didn’t really address the specific details. I ended up repeating myself more than once, which made the whole thing more annoying than it needed to be.
After waiting and going back and forth, the issue still wasn’t properly resolved. Maybe I just had bad luck, but from my experience it felt like nobody really took ownership of the problem. it was frustrating enough that I wouldn’t use getoffroam.com again.

It worked fine for my trip and getting it set up was straightforward, so no real complaints there. But am I missing something, or is the price a little high for what you get? I’d probably use it again, especially if there was a discount or a better deal available.

Used this for a week abroad and, it just worked. The connection didn’t drop once, which is more than I can say for the usual garbage hotel Wi-Fi. Damn happy with it
